Stoic in the Storm

The breakdown is inevitable
The wounds are deemed unmendable
The wall was not impenetrable
and now the agony is inescapable

Still the exterior remains unphasable
Stoic, Calm, Unreadable
The storm rages beneath, unseeable
and the torment remains unmeasurable
The breakdown is inevitable
