Book Review: Samuel Edward Konkin III Revolutionary Friend
Title: Samuel Edward Konkin III Revolutionary Friend by Wendy McElroy
Rating: 5 Stars
Summary: This book is part biography and part exploration of agorism. It covers the man and his philosophy through various subjects.
Strengths: Rather than just presenting a straight biography, this book blends Konkin's journey with the development of Agorism as a philosophy. The chapters on Science Fiction and Intellectual property were especially interesting.
Weaknesses: Despite having a chapter dedicated to the "Great SEK3 Rothbard Divide," the points/counterpoints between Rothbard and SEK3 are present throughout the book. At times, it felt like the author was meandering too far into their relationship and away from the point they were trying to make.
Recommendation: Anyone interested in Agorism and SEK3 but has a basic understanding of the philosophy and history of libertarianism.
